Football & Yoga

Our football programme places an emphasis on social and cultural education, also helping to progress young people from grassroot kick-abouts to taking part in competitive football at various levels. Young people take on leadership roles within every session, organising teams and refereeing. All young people have the opportunity to play in leagues and tournaments on a casual basis for CYP.

Through yoga we help young people to increase their confidence, motivation and fitness levels. 
Yoga develops participants’ mental strength, helping them to overcome the various types of fear that can often overwhelm teenagers, such as the fear that they don’t fit in, that they will fail, or that they are not good enough.
As a result, they can carry the new-found confidence gained through yoga into other aspects of life, approaching difficult situations more confidently and achieving their goals.
