BBC’s Radio 4 PM: Anatomy of a Stabbing
This week CYP are being featured on BBC’s Radio 4’s ‘PM’ Programme. The topical debate show has been reporting on how knife crime and gang culture has devastatingly impacted the Islington community, and in particular follows the story of Michelle McPhillips as she seeks justice for the murder of her only son JJ McPhillips. Our project director Steve Griffith features on the programme which so far has five episodes.

Episode 4 reports on former CYP member Nedim Bilgin’s story, with deeply moving accounts from his closest friends Grace, 16, and Elliot, 17. The programme already has attracted attention and kind donations to our work.
