Exciting staff changes at CYP & Double your donations!

It’s been a year of growth for CYP – despite the many challenges going off in the world! Our Administration & Communications Officer – Lucy Taylor has now moved on to be our Communications Manager. Lauren Gordon has taken over from Lucy’s position and is our new Property & Administration Officer role focusing on the growing property management and admin side of things. Lucy Taylor said “I am very thankful for this opportunity! Because of CYP, I’ve been able to grow and flourish in my role and have been given access to lots of opportunities that I wouldn’t have been able to if I worked elsewhere.” Both of these roles are new, and we feel very fortunate to expand in a way that not many smaller charities can.
Sadly, our Employability & Enterprise Workers Jennifer Uche has left the role (but will still be working a few hours at youth club a week!), and Sombo Dakowah will take over her role. Sombo is no stranger to CYP, and was previously volunteering as Employablity Volunteer. Sombo was a well-respected volunteer who has helped countless young people with their CV and finding work opportunities over the years, and we are excited to see her hit the ground running as an employee.
We have also just received exciting funding news from the Four Acre Trust. If you are able to give a larger donation and have not donated to us before we can claim match funding on donations of £500 or more thanks to them. Donate now on LocalGiving and help us take advantage of an incredible opportunity!
