Hello Snowdonia!

Last week CYP members were treated to a weekend away in Snowdonia, Wales.
Even with rain, heavy wind, our young people were determined to reach the top. The weather may have been treacherous but fortunately, most of our young people managed to reach the summit.
“Thank you for taking us on a journey we will never forget”
Although it was a flying visit, our young people found time to swim in a lake which was a whole lot of fun.
All in all this year’s summer holiday has been a massive success and some CYP members have even mentioned that it’s “the best summer they’ve ever had”. We would like to thank all CYP members and staff that have made it such an enjoyable summer.
We would also like to give a warm welcome to our new members of staff! Isoa Tupua recently joined us in July and will be our new Outreach & Senior Youth Worker. We have also appointed Rochelle Robertson who is our new Employability & Enterprise Worker. They both come from an extensive background of youth work and we are very excited to have them on board. We would like to say a huge thank you to the Big Lottery Fund, as without their funding these posts wouldn’t be possible.
The summer holidays may have finished and school is now sadly back, but that still won’t stop the fun times at CYP! Our usual programme will be resuming so expect plenty of youth clubs, football sessions and more. To download our latest timetable click here.
