Inside Out Project & Cally Festival 2021

Inside Out Project & Cally Festival 2021

If you’ve been over the road to Granary Square lately you may have noticed a little pop-up exhibition in which CYP has been involved in! The exhibition Inside Out is being held in four major locations in London in celebration of the UEFA EURO 2020 Football Championships to celebrate football and its ability to bring people together. You can find black and white portraits taken by French artist JR of Project Director Steve Griffith and CYP’s Young Creators in Granary Square from June 16th to September 16th.

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, said: “It’s fantastic that eight games from the UEFA EURO 2020 Football Championships are taking place in London this summer, and the Inside Out project is a great way for Londoners to mark the tournament. ”

It wouldn’t be June if there wasn’t a Cally Festival. Whilst a full Cally Festival isn’t possible this year either, we still plan to celebrate the spirit of Cally Fest on a much smaller scale. This Sunday, there will be a combination of online events with a smattering of entertainment and activities on the Cultivating Cally street walk. To coincide with and celebrate the launch of Freeling Street Pocket Park, there will be a walking route from Thornhill Square to Bingfield Park, to showcase the work of local organisations and the creative community.

You can find us along the path, where we will have a small stall where you can watch videos showcasing our work from the past year. Last week, the Young Creators were shooting some local artists to be a part of the videos. Cally Festival will be this Sunday, 27th June at 12-5 PM. You can find all information on the Cally Festival website here.
