Mental Health & Wellbeing Programme: Art Mural

Anyone who has been into CYP recently will undoubtedly have noticed the new bright blue mural on the wall! As part of our new Mental Health & Wellbeing Programme, young people at CYP have been leading on this artistic design which is meant to represent themselves and their favourite CYP memories.
The design is entirely youth-led, and all started out with a session at CYP with young people brainstorming their ideas; with honourable mentions to favourites such as Thorpe Park and TikTok. Not to mention Steve Griffith’s famous eye-patch!

Former CYP youth worker and local artist Levi Naidu-Mitchell has been helping the young people paint the mural and sketch out how they want it to look. The mural is still a work-in-progress, but I think we can all agree it looks amazing so far, and we can’t wait for the finished product!
