Only 2 days left to support a unique film project!

We have recently partnered with emerging filmmaker Jordan Bunton-Williams to support his exciting project about one of our current volunteers, and former CYP youth member, Mardoche Yembi.

They are raising funds to produce a 15 minute extract of the already written, full length feature film script entitled “Mardoche’s Journey to Freedom”.

A narrative film, it is based on the true life story of Mardoche who was only 7 years old when his mother died and he was sent away from his family in Congo to live with his abusive uncle in London. There, Mardoche lived an unsettled life made worse when his new family believed that he was possessed by Kindoki (African witchcraft).
