Stephen has been at CYP for over 15 years, starting initially as a youth worker then becoming our Project Director. Stephen
works primarily on developing our youth programmes and supporting young people, as well as liaising with other local clubs, businesses and authorities. In 2019, he won an Islington Mayor’s Civic Award.

Finance & Admin Manager
Theo is also our Company Secretary and has been at CYP since 2006. She manages all our finances including spend against budget reports, cash flow forecasts, and payroll. In addition to applying for grants & funding, and reporting to our funders & trustees. She also provides support to our Property & Admin Manager.

Outreach & Senior Youth Worker
Isoa is our full-time Outreach & Senior Youth Worker. After working for a few years in special educational needs settings – specialising in behaviour – Isoa decided to join our team to solely focus on helping improve emotional, personal and social behaviour.

Outreach Worker & Youth Worker
Chelsea first joined CYP as a member back when he was 12 years old. Since then he has progressed to be a mentor and is now a fully fledged youth worker.

Employability & Enterprise Worker
Sombo supports young people to apply for jobs and to prepare their mindset for the world of work, as well as helping them to gain qualifications. Sombo has helped countless young people with their CV over her years working and volunteering at CYP.

Property & Administration Manager
Lauren comes from a background of property management and administration, and currently oversees the logistics and day-to-day running of CYP. She does everything from managing the volunteering department to producing reports for our funders.
After working for a few years doing admin for CYP, Lucy now manages marketing content for our communication channels. She posts all our news to the website and also runs our Christmas fundraising appeal.
Therapeutic Youth Worker
KJ supports our young people with their mental health and wellbeing, working together to build a support plan with a focus on self-care. Working with local partners to improve access to services, KJ has gained a deeper understanding of trauma and its impact. KJ has over nine years of experience and has specialised with young people at risk through Detached Youth Work, Special Educational Needs settings, and Playwork.
Kyle started out as a CYP member, and eventually worked his way to becoming a youth worker. He has worked with young people for over ten years ranging from youth work, playwork, football coaching and being a P.E teacher.

Peter has been working with CYP since the very beginning as a youth worker; primarily focusing on the sports side of things. He currently managers our senior football team CYPFC and coaches boys football.
Tuesday & Friday
Anthony is another CYP member turned youth worker. Anthony has an extensive background in youth work; from delivering poetry workshops in schools to working as an SEN assistant.
As a professional musician, Phil has a keen interest in helping our young people gain confidence and learn new skills in the CYP studio. In his fifteen years at CYP, he has helped countless young people flourish in music.
Jennifer works at our youth club a couple of evenings a week. With a background in psychology, Jennifer takes a holistic approach to youth work, with a particular interest in mindfulness and wellbeing.
