Stephen Griffith

Chief Executive Officer

Stephen has been at CYP for over 15 years, starting initially as a youth worker, then becoming our Project Director and now, is our Chief Executive Officer.

Stephen works primarily on developing our youth programmes and supporting young people, as well as liaising with other local clubs, businesses and authorities. In 2019, he won an Islington Mayor’s Civic Award.

Chief Operating Officer

Theo is also our Company Secretary and has been at CYP since 2006. She manages all our finances including spend against budget reports, cash flow forecasts, and payroll. In addition to applying for grants & funding, and reporting to our funders & trustees. She also provides support to our Property & Admin Manager.

Chelsea Sabine

Outreach Worker & Youth Worker

Chelsea first joined CYP as a member back when he was 12 years old. Since then he has progressed to be a mentor and is now a fully fledged youth worker.

Lauren Gordon

Property & Administration Manager

Lauren oversees CYP’s daily operations and logistics. She looks after the volunteering division, keeping our funders up to date with reports on the project’s progression. 

Peter Sogbodjor

Youth Worker

Peter has been working with CYP since the very beginning as a youth worker; primarily focusing on the sports side of things. He currently managers our senior football team CYPFC and coaches boys football. 

Kyle

Kyle Kidd

Youth Worker

Kyle started out as a CYP member, and eventually worked his way to becoming a youth worker. He has worked with young people for over ten years ranging from youth work, playwork, football coaching and being a P.E teacher. 

Phil Wilkins

Youth Worker

As a professional musician, Phil has a keen interest in helping our young people gain confidence and learn new skills in the CYP studio. In his fifteen years at CYP, he has helped countless young people flourish in music.
